Chris McNab is author of many internationally bestselling books on weapons and warfare. He has written titles in the Battle Story series on Verdun and Cambrai, as well as the World War I Story (all, The History Press).

Andrew Robertshaw is an acclaimed First World War historian and was the lead historical consultant for Stephen Spielberg’s War Horse. In 2012 he constructed a full-scale trench replica in Surrey which is now a BBC filming location and educational facility for school groups and specialists to learn more about trench life in the First World War.
